There are four seasons in a year—but there are many seasons in life.
When I first began writing the Four Seasons of Faith series, I imagined four books—one for each season. But as the Ellis family’s story has continued to grow, I’ve realized something: their journey doesn’t have to end when the four seasons do. There are so many seasons in a family’s life—seasons of joy and struggle, loss and healing, change and new beginnings, and seasons when faith carries us through places we never expected to go.
So, I’ve made a small change that feels like a very big possibility. Four Seasons of Faith is now The Seasons of Faith—a name that leaves the door open for the Ellis family’s story to continue wherever God, life, and a little inspiration may lead them.
A Christmas Room – A Tale of Faith, Love & Light began the journey, introducing readers to Sarah, Billy, and the family whose lives have become so dear to me. A Spring Garden – A Tale of Hope, Healing, and Renewal continues their story and is coming soon. And I’m already working on the next book, A Fall Harvest, which will carry the family into another season of change, challenges, blessings, and faith.
As the series grows, readers can expect the things that have been at its heart from the beginning: faith, family, friendship, clean romance, the comforts of home, and characters facing the joys and struggles that come with real life. There will be celebrations and heartaches, ordinary days and extraordinary moments—and through it all, reminders that God is near, even when the road ahead is uncertain.
